To use this HSC set file, you must first have downloaded and installed
HotSpotClicker
and be a user of the screenreading software
Jaws For Windows.
Please Note: It's important before using the HSC set file, that you read thoroughly the included "readMe-install-config.txt" and "SAMBC-DOC.html" files provided in the download, because a specific configuration has been intentionally used to maximize accessibility for VIP users of the program.
This hotspot set file has been created to add accessibility to a specific configuration of SAM Broadcaster 4.x. It has been tested with versions 4.2.2, 4.3.6 and 4.7 on both Windows XP and Windows 7 using the "windows classic" theme. It does not make the program 100% accessible with hotkeys, but does, however, make accessible the "real-time" monitoring, specific controls and feedback needed to efficiently broadcast with SAM. Features have been intentionally highlighted to make accessible, so that the user can easily retrieve and access some of the main functions through the use of hotkeys. It is presumed that the user will know how to fully configure the program and that they may, at times, need to use the "jaws cursor" (e.g, to confirm changes by clicking on "OK" buttons in configuration and encoder settings etc).
PLEASE NOTE: This configuration has intentionally been made to maximize accessibility for the user without bloating the amount of hotspots needed to successfully interact with this complex program. Any features or configuration outside of this specific HSC configuration is not supported.
